The Dogwood House

The Dogwood House is a country garden event venue set on a wooded property inside Capital Circle NE in Tallahassee, Florida, open for events since December 2007. The structure carries a log-cabin character — steep tin ceilings, rustic wooden columns — that gives the space a sense of warmth and southern graciousness from the moment guests arrive. The venue offers 1,800 square feet of indoor space, including a full kitchen and restrooms, alongside a large 800-square-foot covered back porch with an open bar, and a 1,200-square-foot open patio overlooking a sprawling backyard shaded by mature trees. Outdoor amenities include a fire pit, a covered bar and dance floor, a PA system, tiki torches, twinkle lights, and three separate private spots tucked around the grounds. The property accommodates events from 20 to 600 guests, making it equally suited to intimate gatherings and large-scale celebrations. Weddings, corporate meetings, birthday parties, anniversaries, and private receptions are all at home here.
