The Dow Academic Center at Brazosport College is a versatile event facility in Lake Jackson, Texas, built to welcome everything from weddings and banquets to fundraisers, trade shows, and graduation ceremonies. Its lobby makes an immediate impression, rising 17 feet with programmable LED accent lighting that can be tailored to an event's color palette. At the heart of the center is Commencement Hall, a generously sized space that divides into seven distinct areas, giving hosts real flexibility in shaping their footprint. It offers banquet seating for up to 800 guests or theater-style seating for as many as 2,000, making it equally suited to an intimate reception or a large-scale gathering. For smaller needs, the Regency Suite provides a private dining space anchored by a large conference table, along with room to serve as a gift area, coat room, or mingling space alongside the Green Room. Rentals include tables, chairs, setup, and breakdown, and the venue offers a preparation kitchen for its approved caterers along with in-house technology like Hi-Def displays and reliable internet connectivity for presentations.
