The Get Down is a unique event venue in Portland's Central Eastside, built for the party: a large open dance floor, a built-in stage and professional sound and lighting. Whether you're planning a wedding reception with a DJ or live band, a company holiday party or a milestone birthday, The Get Down delivers a high-energy, music-driven experience, with a flexible layout that works around your plans, not a preset timeline. The layout: - Main room: open floor for dinner tables, a dance floor or both, with a raised stage for toasts, speeches, a DJ or a band. Up to 300 seated or 450 standing. - Bar: full-service bar under neon lights and a rainbow mural - VIP lounge: a private room with a pool table and leather couches, for the wedding party, honored guests or a quieter hangout Bring any caterer you like, with no outside-vendor fee. Rent the room à la carte from $1,000, or bundle a hosted bar from $40 per guest and save 50% on the venue.

Rent the room and add only what you need. Off-peak venue rental: Mon–Wed $1,000 · Thu/Sun $1,500 · Fri/Sat $2,000, with a bar minimum of $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,000. Event coordinator included. Bring any caterer, food truck or baker with no outside-vendor fee (drinks provided by The Get Down). Peak dates (Mar–May, Sep–Nov): add 25% to the rental and bar minimum. Guest minimum 75 (125 Fri/Sat). Bartenders, event coordinator and door security included. 8 hours of venue access. Venue 50% off: off-peak Mon–Wed $500 · Thu/Sun $750 · Fri/Sat $1,000, and the venue is free at 100+ guests (175+ Fri/Sat). Peak dates (Mar–May, Sep–Nov) add 25% to the venue only. A 20% gratuity applies to the bar total.
