The Golden Hotel

The Golden Hotel is a full-service boutique hotel in historic downtown Golden, Colorado, overlooking Clear Creek and the Rocky Mountain Foothills. Part of the Ascend Hotel Collection, the property blends mountain lodge ambiance with contemporary amenities, making it a natural fit for gatherings that call for a scenic Colorado backdrop. The hotel offers more than 6,500 square feet of versatile event and meeting space across eight distinct indoor and outdoor venues. The Clear Creek Ballroom anchors the lineup, seating up to 150 guests and dividing into two independent rooms — the Clear Creek Room and the Soda Creek Room — each with access to a mountainside patio. Outdoor events find a natural home in the Creekside Courtyard, which accommodates up to 120 guests with views of Clear Creek, or on the Mountainside Patio, which looks out to the Rocky Mountain Foothills. Smaller gatherings are well served by the Mesa Room, the Golden Vista Room, and the intimate Elk Creek Boardroom. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi and audio-visual equipment rentals are available throughout. The on-site Bridgewater Grill — featuring Colorado Proud ingredients — provides catering and dining services for event guests, and the hotel's events team works directly with groups to customize proposals.
