The Guitar Merchant

Guitar Merchant is a music retail store, school, and live performance venue founded in 1999 in West Hills, California, serving the San Fernando Valley and greater Los Angeles area. Located at the corner of Fallbrook and Saticoy in West Hills, the business has been recognized as a top-100 music dealer by NAMM for customer service excellence. The venue side of Guitar Merchant — The Stettler Room — hosts weekly open mic nights every Thursday at 7 p.m., live band performances, youth showcases (Kids JAMboree), artist recitals, and album release shows. The space is also available for private rental for recitals, music releases, birthday parties, film shoots, and art shows. Lessons at Guitar Merchant span all instruments and all ages, with instruction available seven days a week. The live venue naturally extends from the school's mission, giving students and community musicians a stage to perform and an audience to play for.
