Over the past six decades, members of our family and close friends have delighted in the enchantment that awaits you in this place. When you combine a setting that is cozy, welcoming, and comfortable with the natural beauty of Texas found on this property near Fort Worth, Texas, you get a special kind of allure that is unhurried and deliciously meditative. At The Heirloom Hideaway, you won't find a more perfect setting for commemorating your elopement, micro-wedding and reception, or special event with your closest loved ones. Since three generations ago, our family has made use of this teeny-tiny piece of Texas, sometimes known as paradise. In the beginning, it was our grandfather's small 80-acre "place in the country," which he used to enjoy the outdoors on by hunting, fishing, and simply taking in the scenery. Although he did not cultivate vegetables or raise poultry here, he did have a horse for the grandkids to ride, several cows (mainly as pets), and a Brahma Bull named Baby. He referred to this place as his "farm" (his biggest pet of all). Our parents built the home as well as the movie theater, which is now known as The Ruby Chapel, in the early 1990s, and it served as their Texas residence for the subsequent 20 years. As they became older, they "downsized" the land until it was ultimately reduced to the current size of 7 acres.
