The Inn at Ole Miss

The Inn at Ole Miss is the only hotel on the University of Mississippi campus, situated adjacent to The Grove — the university's 11-acre gathering space — within 150 steps of its entrance. Originally opened in 1951 as the Alumni House, the property underwent a $21 million expansion in 2008, emerging as an eight-story, 146-room hotel with more than 10,000 square feet of dedicated event space. Four meeting and event venues accommodate a range of gathering sizes: the Gertrude C. Ford Ballroom spans 5,600 square feet and divides into four soundproof sections, with five drop-down screens, full A/V capabilities, and a private balcony overlooking downtown Oxford; the James N. Butler Auditorium seats up to 96 guests for banquet-style events in the adjacent Triplett Alumni Center; and the McMillan and William S. Griffin Boardrooms provide more intimate settings for private meetings and small gatherings. The hotel also offers outdoor wedding ceremonies at the Stark Family Garden, with Taylor Grocery serving as the property's approved on-site caterer.
