The Inn at Wise

The Inn at Wise is a restored 1910 colonial-revival landmark in the historic district of Wise, Virginia, steps from the University of Virginia's College at Wise. The property was built after the original Dotson Hotel was lost to fire, expanded under Herbert Thompson's 1925 renovation, and later brought back from decades of neglect through a restoration led by the Wise County Industrial Development Authority. Today the Inn offers a range of event spaces for weddings, meetings, and celebrations, from the grand Gladeville Ballroom, which accommodates up to 220 guests, to the more intimate Colonial Room, Sunporch, and Balcony Room. Couples and planners can pair a celebration with curated local wine dinners and on-site catering, while guests staying overnight have access to complimentary breakfast, free WiFi, free parking, and medical spa services by appointment.
