The Inns of Aurora is a collection of eight historically restored properties set along the shores of Cayuga Lake in Aurora, New York, a village designated a National Historic District in 1795. The flagship Aurora Inn was built in 1833 by Colonel E.B. Morgan, a New York Times co-founder, and stands as one of the oldest continuously operating inns in the region. Spanning 350 acres, the resort ranges from lakefront mansions to a working farmhouse, uniting distinct properties under a single destination in the Finger Lakes. For private events and weddings, the property accommodates groups from intimate gatherings to celebrations of up to 200 guests. The seasonal Lakeside Tent sits directly on Cayuga Lake; The Loft offers a more intimate setting with exposed brick and hand-hewn beams for up to 50 guests; and the 1838 Taylor House — a meticulously restored lakeside estate — serves as a dedicated event and meeting center. In-house dining is available across three on-site restaurants, and a full-service spa with hydrotherapy facilities rounds out the guest experience for overnight retreats and corporate programs.
