The Kimpton Grand Hotel Minneapolis

The Hyatt Centric Downtown Minneapolis occupies a building with roots stretching back to the early 1900s, when it served the community as the Minneapolis Athletic Club. The hotel's design pays tribute to that heritage through collegiate details and locally inspired artwork, creating a setting that connects the history of the space to its current role as a full-service lifestyle hotel with 154 guest rooms and suites. The property sits in the heart of downtown, with direct access to the city's 11-mile climate-controlled skyway system and within walking distance of US Bank Stadium, First Avenue, Target Center, and Target Field. Private events are hosted across more than 6,900 square feet of function space on the hotel's fifth and sixth floors. Six meeting rooms accommodate groups ranging from intimate board meetings to receptions of up to 200 guests. The MAC Ballroom — named for the property's athletic club history — is the hotel's largest event space at 3,750 square feet, featuring natural light from city-facing windows. SIX15 Bar and Restaurant, serving Nordic-inspired cuisine, provides an on-site dining complement for event programming.
