The Laurel Restaurant and Bar is a privately owned Farm to Table restaurant run by Chef and Owner Ashley Flagg. Chef Flagg has been twice nominated for Best Chef Connecticut and The Laurel is nominated for Best Restaurant Newcomer. The cuisine is globally inspired while focusing on using local ingredients from farmers and artisans. The Cocktail program, run by Abraham Rojas, matches the globally inspired food menu and pushes the envelope of what other bar programs in the area are able to accomplish. The space is expertly designed to enhance the beauty of the original Tin ceilings, brick walls and beautiful wood floor. The main dining area is adorned with vintage wall paper and a stunning mural of Mountain Laurels by local Artist Jaime Jones. Jaime Jones is also set to paint a mural in the newly renovated private dining room as well. This and many other features make this a truly unique event space to dazzle your guests. - Yes both our main dining room and our private dining room are handicap accessible.

- Yes, Rebekah Flagg, one of the owners, will help coordinate your event with assistance of our General Manager Evelyn Henninger.
- Does the venue have any décor restrictions?
- We ask that any decor please be temporary, meaning no wall fastenings such as nails or screws may be used. Many of the design features are original to the building and we would like to maintain their integrity.
