The Laurel Restaurant and Bar is a privately owned Farm to Table restaurant run by Chef and Owner Ashley Flagg. Chef Flagg has been twice nominated for Best Chef Connecticut and The Laurel is nominated for Best Restaurant Newcomer. The cuisine is globally inspired while focusing on using local ingredients from farmers and artisans. The Cocktail program, run by Abraham Rojas, matches the globally inspired food menu and pushes the envelope of what other bar programs in the area are able to accomplish. The space is expertly designed to enhance the beauty of the original Tin ceilings, brick walls and beautiful wood floor. The main dining area is adorned with vintage wall paper and a stunning mural of Mountain Laurels by local Artist Jaime Jones. Jaime Jones is also set to paint a mural in the newly renovated private dining room as well. This and many other features make this a truly unique event space to dazzle your guests. Pushing your event over the edge of other spaces, The Laurels service team has decades of experience as industry professionals and are ready to cater to you and your guests. The unique dining menu, cocktail program and experienced staff at The Laurel will make your next event the party of the year. Whether you are joining us in Private dining room with a party from 12-50 people or looking for a building buyout of up to 150 people, The Laurel is ready to accommodate.
