The Lily Barn

The Lily Barn is a 100-acre farm venue in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in Townsend, Tennessee, just five minutes from the Cades Cove entrance to the national park and a short drive from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. At the heart of the property sits a 130-year-old cantilever barn surrounded by a 3-acre perennial garden, an evergreen maze, a pond, and beds of day lilies and native plants. Ceremonies are held at a tin-roofed outdoor gazebo set in front of the pond, with guests seated in a shallow arc so all can see the vows exchanged. Receptions move to the open-air entertainment pavilion, a diamond-lit space that seats up to 150 guests, with the option to expand further with an event tent for larger celebrations. The historic cantilever barn doubles as a private, air-conditioned dressing suite for the bridal party before the ceremony. The venue provides full catering services on-site and offers wedding planning support to help couples design their day, along with cabin rentals on the property for guest lodging or a honeymoon stay. Beyond weddings, the pavilion also hosts corporate events, family and school reunions, church gatherings, and other private celebrations.
