The Lodge at Sunspot, Winter Park Resort

The Lodge at Sunspot sits atop Winter Park Mountain at 10,700 feet, reached by a scenic gondola ride from the resort base. The lodge is a natural gathering place for private events and celebrations, combining a classic mountain-lodge aesthetic — log construction, stone accents, and a sweeping wrap-around deck — with panoramic views of the Continental Divide. Private events at Sunspot draw on multiple distinct spaces, including the Sunspot Dining Hall and the Provisioner, alongside outdoor ceremony and reception areas. The resort's in-house culinary team provides chef-crafted, chef-plated menus with a range of dietary accommodations and full beverage service. All Sunspot wedding and event packages include round-trip mountain transportation via gondola for guests. The venue is wheelchair accessible via the gondola and welcomes dogs, making it a flexible choice for a range of celebrations. Winter Park Resort's group sales team coordinates lodging, lift tickets, and group activity packages alongside event planning, offering guests a seamless mountain experience from arrival through celebration.
