The Marathon Garden Club

Founded in 1955, the Marathon Garden Club has deep roots in the Florida Keys, growing from a small group of civic-minded residents into a long-standing center for horticulture, community beautification, and private events at its Garden Club Center in Marathon. The centerpiece of the facility is a carpeted octagonal room with a cathedral ceiling — a distinctive space that accommodates weddings, receptions, banquets, showers, rehearsal dinners, seminars, and holiday gatherings. A full kitchen, stage area, and dance floor round out the interior, while a covered outdoor tent and surrounding gardens extend the event footprint for larger celebrations or garden ceremonies. The club's Master Gardener-maintained grounds add a lush, tropical backdrop characteristic of the Keys that sets the facility apart from conventional event spaces.
