The Maridor

Built in 1916, The Maridor is a Colonial Revival estate with Federal Style detailing set in Roanoke's Grandin Village, within walking distance of local shops and the Historic Grandin Theater. The current team serves as stewards of the property, preserving its century of history while updating it for modern events. The estate's ballroom and outdoor garden host weddings, business meetings, and family gatherings, with an events team available for on-site tours. Catering is flexible, with guests able to dine at the venue or use the property's mobile food truck service. All-inclusive wedding packages can cover food, beverages, alcohol, planning, and accommodations. Guests can extend their stay in one of the historic house's five suites - the Rose, Iris, Daisy, Lily, and Tulip - each with a private bathroom, plus a carriage house with its own private entrance. The suites double as Airbnb rentals when not in use for private events. Beyond weddings, The Maridor also hosts public ticketed gatherings such as cookouts and themed nights, reflecting its role as a longstanding community gathering place in Grandin Village.
