The Mitchell House

The Mitchell House is a historic wedding and event venue on the grounds of a former property called Ginkgo Manor, anchored by a century-old ginkgo tree on the front lawn. Owner Vivian Autry purchased the property in June 2019 after her daughter's wedding was held there in 2011, and her family's ties to the nearby Lake Martin area span five generations. The venue's centerpiece is its enclosed pavilion, a climate-controlled space with seating for up to 225 guests, three private restrooms, a prep kitchen for catering, a covered walkway, and crossback chairs. Its combination of historic house, landscaped grounds, and enclosed pavilion makes it suited to weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, and family gatherings.
