The Muse Knoxville

Muse Knoxville is a children's science museum in Knoxville, Tennessee, built around hands-on STEAM exhibits spanning science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Located on Beaman Street next to the Knoxville Zoo, the museum traces its roots to 1960 and today includes exhibits like Weather Wonders, Mini Food City, Tech Play, and the USS Muse Planetary Explorer, its updated planetarium. Beyond daily visits, Muse Knoxville opens its galleries for private rentals, from birthday celebrations to family fun nights, end-of-school-year gatherings, and corporate social events. A private party room comes with built-in decor, table coverings, and a dedicated Party Host who handles setup, refreshments, and cleanup, while access to the play floor and planetarium can round out the celebration. For groups that want the run of the place, the museum can be booked in full, with a building capacity of about 175 people. The museum also hosts team building sessions for up to 50 or more guests, with hands-on activities built around communication, problem-solving, and leadership.
