The Oaks at Oak Plantation are a mix of elegance and heritage, with roots in Texas history extending back to the early 1900s. The McConathy family purchased 500 acres of the Turner Ranch in 2014, forming Oak Plantation Trophy Ranch. Originally, the family intended to construct a luxury hunting lodge where guided whitetail and exotic deer hunts would take place. Their oldest son got engaged in 2015. Long before anything else was erected, he and his bride were married beneath one of the gorgeous oak trees. The delight they felt as they saw their loved ones enjoy such a beautiful day transformed the hunting lodge into an event space. Their mission is to share that joy with others by providing a magnificent setting for family and friends to celebrate. The Oaks at Oak Plantation was founded in 2016, and their goal became a reality in Spring 2019. We treat our visitors like family when they come to The Oaks at Oak Plantation.
