The Old Gin

This old cotton gin has been entirely restored and converted into an event space unlike any other in the world. Don't be fooled by what you see on the exterior! A lovely gem can be found on the inside. In addition to the Courtyard, there is a Gin with a Stage and a magnificent chandelier, as well as an Outdoor Space. The Old Gin can accommodate a wide range of events! Because the interior is a blank canvas, you may design your event exactly how you want it! The Point Venue Performance and Event Center is located on Highway 69, between Interstates I30 and I20, in the heart of downtown Point Pleasant. Previously, it had been converted from a working "Cotton Mill" into a "Theatre." A 40 by 20 foot stage makes us the "Jewel" of East Texas for events that feature live music, performers, DJs, or even the "First Dance." We are also known as the "Jewel" of East Texas when it comes to "First Dances." It is our stage and custom-made "Hay Bale" chandelier that bring this venue to life. If the “Party” is the most important part of your wedding, you need to come see what we have to offer. Because of our connection with MRIT Event Technologies, we have access to lower rates on bespoke lighting, drape, and the BigShotSelfie Mirror Photobooth. Indoors, we have 4000 square feet of air-conditioned space in the theatre, and we have another 2000 square feet of covered area in our courtyard and rear quarter. We also have more than 3 acres of outside area that may be used for outdoor weddings and other activities on a rental basis.
