The Old Manassas Courthouse is a restored 19th-century courthouse at the corner of Grant Avenue and Lee Avenue in Old Town Manassas, Virginia. Built as Prince William County's fifth courthouse, the building served as the county seat from 1894 until 1982 before being restored and reopening to the public in 2001. Upstairs, the original courtroom has been rehabilitated into a ballroom that hosts meetings, receptions, and private celebrations for up to 100 guests, with tables and chairs provided. The surrounding grounds carry their own history: Civil War-era cannons and a commemorative monument remain on site, marking the courthouse's role as the location of the 1911 Peace Jubilee, when President Taft stood on the grounds to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the First Battle of Manassas. Set in Old Town Manassas, the courthouse is within reach of the area's restaurants, museums, and shops, making it a fitting choice for a historic-backdrop celebration close to the city's other landmarks.
