The Gahanna Sanctuary is a nonprofit event venue set inside a building with more than 129 years of history, listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1987. A 2024 renovation refreshed the lighting and architectural details while preserving the character of the space, including its Tudor stained-glass windows, which give the main hall a distinctive backdrop for ceremonies and celebrations. - What does the rental fee for the venue include?
- The venue is rented as-is, covering the facility and furnishings: 32 round white tables (5'), 6 round white hi-top tables (30"), 12 rectangle banquet tables (8'), 6 rectangle banquet tables (6'), and 300 white resin chairs, plus a kitchen, private bridal area, free WiFi, and cleaning supplies. Catering, decor, flowers, and photography remain the client's responsibility.
- Set up, tear down and clean-up - who does what?
- The venue is a 100% DIY facility. Optional paid services include table and chair setup for $250 and teardown for $350. Clients are responsible for cleaning spills, returning tables and chairs to storage, clearing decorations, and removing all items by the event end time.
- Are there any restrictions on decorations?
