- How much does it cost to rent the venue?
- At The Penmar, we believe every event should be as unique as the guests who attend. Because our space is highly versatile, our pricing is tailored to the specific vision and requirements of your celebration. Our events team is ready to build a customized proposal designed just for you.
- What is included in the venue rental cost?
- The Penmar provides "plug-and-play" rentals including furniture, compostable dinnerware, custom playlists, a setup hour, heaters, parking, and restrooms. Specialized AV, security, and extra restrooms for large events are available as add-ons. Focus on your guests while we handle the heavy lifting.
- What is the venue refund or cancellation policy?
- A non-refundable deposit, in the amount of 50% of the estimated Event total is due to The Penmar in order to have a valid reservation. If the reservation is canceled within 14 days prior to your event, the deposit will not be returned. 10 days prior to the event, the full amount is due.
- What is the venue capacity?
- Our versatile grounds host up to 2,500 guests for high-energy live music and events. As a vibrant city-owned space, we offer flexible zones that can be combined or tailored to your specific guest count. Reach out to see how we can customize our expansive outdoor areas to meet your unique needs.
- Does the venue have any décor restrictions?
- Decorations are encouraged to reflect your style while respecting our landscape. To keep our gardens pristine, we have a no glitter or confetti policy as they contaminate the greenery. Please avoid tape or nails on trees and structures to protect the paint; string is a perfect alternative.
