The Penn Stater

The Penn Stater Hotel & Conference Center is a 300-room hotel and conference facility in State College, Pennsylvania, near Penn State University. It offers more than 58,000 square feet of function space across 49 rooms, including scenic outdoor terraces with views of central Pennsylvania's rolling hills and sophisticated indoor ballrooms suited to both small ceremonies and large-scale celebrations. For weddings, couples can host ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner, and farewell brunch all on-site, supported by a full-service in-house culinary team offering plated multi-course dinners, buffet receptions, and cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres. An experienced event team assists with planning, floor plans, and vendor coordination, and a bridal suite is typically included for getting ready before the big day. The hotel also houses three on-site restaurants — The Gardens, Legends, and Dear Joe Café & Bakery — along with just over 300 guest rooms and suites, making it easy for wedding parties and guests to stay on property for the full weekend.
