The Pink Moon

The Pink Moon is an incredible, transformable space that is versatile, unique, and unforgettable. Located in the heart of Gowanus, Brooklyn, it is thriving as a newer part of the community offering an incredible space as well as expertise in floral design for any photo shoot, video, corporate event, or private party. Whether you're in need of a space that’s stripped down to the basics including tons of natural light and high ceilings, or in need of a unique space for an intimate party, this is the venue for you. The Pink Moon is the brainchild of floral designer Rebecca Shepherd. Rebecca has been in the floral industry for over a decade producing all kinds of events but specializing in weddings. She opened a retail flower shop 3 years ago and found that every single person that entered her store was stunned by the 25 foot tall ceilings, the massive chandelier and the general beauty of the space. Walk in customers would step right over a black rope that was put up for boundaries and look around the space in awe! This building, once an old door factory with two floors, was gutted by the architectural genius and landlord. These walls, this corner, this neighborhood married with the floral expertise of Rebecca and her team have led her to open this very special, unique and intimate space. BROOKLYN NY MICRO-WEDDING VENUE The Pink Moon really does boast the perfect size for micro-weddings and mini-monies! The space can accommodate between 48-66 guests with a dance floor or up to 75 guests for a cocktail style party. Occupancy is currently limited to 25% due to Covid-19. Full capacity likely to resume in 2021! Amenities: 8 – 6’x30″ tables + black linens 8 – 54″ round tables + black linens 50 guest chairs 8 cocktail tables & 16 bar stools with chic black linens 8′ movable bar with a concrete top Movable 3×3′ concrete table that can act as an extended bar, cake table, photo booth display, etc. Custom concrete counter top that doubles as a food display, bar, gift table, or dessert spread! Add on’s for lighting and tabletop rentals are also available. And, of course, you can always ask Rebecca about adding on in-house floral design!
