The Quarterdeck Boathouse Event Center

The Quarterdeck Boathouse Event Center sits on 60 acres along the west shore of Gull Lake in Nisswa, Minnesota, two hours north of Minneapolis. The property carries a resort tradition that began on this lake in the 1950s, and its 850 feet of sandy beachfront give events a distinctive lakeside backdrop year-round. On-site amenities extend well beyond the event space itself. The Quarterdeck Grill serves as a full bar and restaurant with a regular live music lineup, and QD Social provides an additional indoor-outdoor gathering venue with a pool, sauna, and lounge areas. Overnight lodging ranges from lodge rooms and lakefront lofts to multi-bedroom cabins — a practical advantage for weddings, reunions, or corporate retreats where guests want to stay on property rather than commute. The resort is a four-season destination. Summer events can be built around Gull Lake boating, fishing, and nearby golf, while fall and winter bring snowshoeing, ice fishing, and skiing to the surrounding area. The resort is currently expanding its lodging and amenities while preserving the relaxed character that has defined the property since it first opened.
