The Riverside

The Riverside is a historic 1914 building situated directly on Boulder Creek in the heart of downtown Boulder, Colorado — the only event venue in the city with a private creekside patio. Over the past century, the building has served as a candy shop, a photo studio, restaurants, and a private residence, and today its exposed vintage brick and hardwood floors anchor five distinct event spaces spanning more than 4,000 square feet. The venue accommodates groups from 10 to 150 guests across spaces ranging from the intimate Creek Room with floor-to-ceiling water views, to the Loft with direct sightlines to the Flatirons, to the Agora Room — a 1,320-square-foot main hall with a built-in stage and full A/V that seats up to 120 guests. The multi-tiered outdoor patio perched above the creek is the signature space, popular for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, and summer celebrations. In-house farm-to-table catering is a defining feature: a full culinary team prepares fresh, locally sourced, seasonally inspired menus from an on-site kitchen. Full bar service, A/V and tech support, WiFi, furniture, and dedicated event planning assistance are included across events.
