The Riviera Country Club

Founded in 1926 by Los Angeles Athletic Club members, The Riviera Country Club sits on 1250 Capri Drive in Pacific Palisades, California, overlooking the canyons and coastline of the Santa Monica Mountains. The championship 18-hole golf course, designed by George C. Thomas and opened in 1927, consistently ranks among the top 50 courses in the world and the top 25 in the United States. The Spanish revival-style clubhouse followed in 1928 and remains the social heart of the property. The club hosts the PGA Tour's Genesis Invitational each year and will serve as the official Olympic golf venue for the 2028 Los Angeles Games. Beyond golf, Riviera operates one of the largest tennis facilities in the Western United States, with 24 courts and one of the country's most active teaching programs. The clubhouse features dining, bar, and grill spaces available to members and their guests for private gatherings, with in-house culinary offerings rooted in locally sourced ingredients. The club's longstanding motto — "Only the best is good enough" — shapes every aspect of the member and guest experience.
