The Roycroft Inn is a National Historic Landmark inn, restaurant, and event venue set in the village of East Aurora, New York, 30 miles south of Buffalo. The Roycroft Campus and its distinctive way of life began in 1897, inspired by Elbert Hubbard, founder of the American Arts and Crafts Movement. The Inn opened in 1905 to welcome visitors to this creative community, attracting artists, writers, and intellectuals from across the country. Designated a National Historic Landmark in 1986, the property underwent an $8 million restoration supported by the Margaret L. Wendt Foundation and reopened in 1995. The Inn's interiors showcase original murals by Barbizon-style artist Alexis Jean Fournier — four depicting times of day in the New Foyer and twelve city-themed paintings in the Main Salon — offering an event backdrop rooted in authentic artistic heritage. The venue hosts weddings and receptions accommodating up to 150 guests, as well as corporate meetings, celebrations, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, and bereavement receptions. On-site catering with customizable menus and boutique accommodations are available for event guests.
