The Schertz Civic Center

The Schertz Civic Center offers more than 10,000 square feet of rental space across multiple event venues, conveniently located off IH-35 between Austin and San Antonio. The complex includes the Grand Ballroom, a 7,200-square-foot space with wood floors, tall ceilings, and adjustable lighting that divides into four separate meeting rooms and accommodates up to 400 guests banquet-style or 600 theater-style; the more intimate Cut-Off Hall, which shares the Grand Ballroom's amenities for smaller gatherings up to 200; Bluebonnet Hall, a wood-floored space with audio-visual capability and a commercial kitchen for groups up to 120; and the Conference Hall, which seats up to 200 theater-style and can be partitioned into three breakout rooms for training sessions. Beyond the Civic Center building, the City of Schertz also operates the Community Center, featuring sport court flooring and a pass-through kitchen for up to 150 guests, and the North Center in northern Schertz, a self-service facility with stained concrete floors and a partial kitchen for gatherings up to 80. Together, the facilities accommodate groups ranging from 10 to 400 people for weddings, bridal showers, birthday parties, corporate meetings, and community events.
