The Sedgley Place

The Sedgley Place occupies a stately Federal home built in 1786, set amid lush rolling meadows and fruit trees in Greene, Maine. Self-described as a Country Inn Dining destination, the restored historic property draws on its 80-acre farm and a network of local Maine purveyors to shape a seasonal, ingredient-forward menu. Multiple dining rooms — each with its own distinct ambiance — accommodate private gatherings from 8 to 80 guests indoors. The surrounding grounds extend the venue's reach for larger parties, with the culinary team available to cater off-site as well. The Sedgley Place hosts a range of private occasions, including weddings, rehearsal dinners, birthdays, anniversaries, showers, and company events.
