The Silver Fox

The Silver Fox is a historic event venue housed in a 1906 Masonic Temple in downtown Streator, Illinois — a building that spent years vacant before being thoughtfully restored into a dedicated celebration space. The venue blends the building's architectural character with modern hospitality, offering a setting that combines history, elegance, and a distinctive sense of place. For weddings, The Silver Fox provides exclusive use of the building from 8 a.m. to midnight. The space includes a Ceremony Room with balcony seating and rich period detail, a Ballroom featuring chandeliers and original exposed brick, a Cocktail Lounge for pre- and post-dinner mingling, a Bridal Suite, and a Groom's Room with original hand-crafted wooden lockers from the building's Masonic era. Rental includes linens, dinnerware, glassware, Gold Chiavari chairs, event staff, bartenders, and a dedicated event coordinator. The venue welcomes outside caterers and offers flexible bar packages. A complimentary "Pay-It-Forward Room" provides décor and signage at no additional cost.
