The Smithville Inn

The Smithville Inn is a historic restaurant and event venue situated alongside Lake Meone in Galloway, New Jersey, within the larger Historic Smithville village. The inn pairs rustic character — cobblestone pathways, intimate dining rooms with working fireplaces, and manicured gardens — with a menu built around New American cuisine. For weddings and private events, the inn accommodates up to 170 guests across multiple indoor dining rooms with lake and garden views. An outdoor gazebo terrace provides a setting for ceremonies or cocktail hours in warmer months. A dedicated events team manages coordination throughout, with packages that include catering, open bar, champagne toast, premium linens, and custom wedding cakes. The inn has been recognized by Best of the Press, The Knot, and WeddingWire.
