The Standard, East Village

The Standard, East Village, is a quaint, attractive, and eccentric hotel located off Cooper Square in one of New York's most vibrant, artistic areas. It is very much in the spirit of its surroundings. Before ascending to breathtaking vistas of Manhattan, you enter the 21-story tower through the original tenement-style building. There is a tranquil garden hidden beneath the street, the busy, all-day street-side Café Standard with an indoor mushroom farm, and NO BAR, a hugely inclusive new wave bar that accepts anybody and everyone. Venues The Standard, East Village is more than just a collection of restaurants and bars; it offers a diverse range of venues to fit any occasion. You can do it all under our roof, from casual gatherings to board meetings, intimate cocktails to live concerts, seasonal Garden areas to Penthouse vistas of Manhattan. The Penthouse The Penthouse, which is on the 21st story, has a panoramic view of New York City. The Penthouse, with its 1300 square feet of interior space and 1300 square feet of terrace, is ideal for special events ranging from seated dinners and cocktail receptions to corporate meetings and fashion shows. A surround sound music system, four separate bathrooms, and a flexible selection of accessible furniture options are all included in the space. The Overlook The Overlook is a multi-purpose meeting and conference venue with a furnished terrace overlooking our garden. The bright space, which is located on the second floor, can accommodate 16 guests at the boardroom table and has a 60” HDMI compatible TV & Wi-Fi. The Perch The Perch, on the second level, is accessible for private business meetings of 4-6 people. The 255 sq ft room views our private garden on East 5th Street and Bowery, with floor-to-ceiling windows set among the trees. Chairs, a sofa, a coffee table, and a desk are all included in the Perch's setup. Private Dining Room The private dining room at Narcissa may seat up to 10 people for a private lunch, dinner, or meeting. The location, which is adjacent to the restaurant's main dining room and has its own private bar, overlooks our tranquil garden. On request, a high-definition LED television screen can be used for presentations.
