The Tanglewood House is a historic event venue in Clarksville, Tennessee, built in 1964 as Hachland Hills. Over the decades it hosted country music stars, including Minnie Pearl, and international dignitaries, and it remains a gathering place for weddings, reunions, showers, and celebrations of every kind. Its grounds include an 1790s log cabin that once served as a residence of Andrew Jackson, the nation's seventh president, lending the property a rare sense of history alongside its century-old oak trees. Following a 2011 renovation, the Main House now centers on a Ballroom with chandeliers and hardwood floors, seating up to 120 guests, alongside the adjoining Hearth Room, with its stone and iron fireplace and wall of windows, which can serve as a second reception space or a 90-guest ceremony room. Outdoors, the Fireplace Patio and the Lower Grounds ceremony space — set against a log cabin backdrop and lined with antique walnut church pews — give couples both indoor and outdoor options within a few steps of one another. The venue operates as an all-inclusive property with in-house floral and rental services, a dedicated Bridal Suite and Groom's Cabin for getting ready, and a collection of on-site cabins available for overnight stays, making it suited to weddings, showers, birthdays, and corporate gatherings alike.
