The Trailside Inn

Set on five acres in the Green Mountains of Vermont, The Trailside Inn is a farmhouse-style property in Killington that hosts wedding weekends, corporate retreats, and family gatherings with exclusive use of the grounds. Couples exchange vows by a brook lined with birch and maple trees, then move to the deck and backyard for cocktail hour before dinner and dancing under a 2,400-square-foot event tent illuminated by paper lanterns. At the heart of the inn is the Great Room, where a wood fire warms guests during welcome parties, rehearsal dinners, and farewell brunches, and multiple fire pits on the property host nightly bonfires and s'mores. A renovated lower-level game room, with foosball, pool, Giant Jenga, and cornhole, keeps the celebration going after the reception ends. The property's 42 bedrooms, spread across a 28-room main inn, a 9-bedroom guesthouse, and a 5-bedroom Farmhouse, sleep up to 102 guests, allowing wedding parties to book out the entire inn for the weekend. The Trailside Inn has been named to The Knot's Best of Weddings Hall of Fame for 2018 through 2023.
