The Venue @ 939 Adams

The Venue at 939 Adams is a historic event center in downtown Bowling Green, Kentucky, housed in one of the largest freestanding historic buildings in the city. The building dates to 1914 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places — it originally served as a tobacco processing facility and later became famous as the home of Mammoth Cave Twist. The space opened as an event venue in May 2017 and retains much of its original industrial character, including original hardwood floors and exposed brick. The venue spans more than 12,000 square feet across three stories and accommodates up to 720 guests, with seating for up to 400. The main event floor features a stage, a 32-foot wood-top bar with a pre-Civil War bathtub built into it, and a surround sound system that carries both indoors and out. A 2,000-square-foot private outdoor patio offers additional space for cocktail hours and receptions. Private preparation suites for the wedding party are also available on site. The venue welcomes weddings, corporate events, galas, and private celebrations of all kinds, with a fully open vendor policy that gives clients full flexibility in selecting their catering and other service providers.
