The Villa at Springwood

The Villa at Springwood is an outdoor wedding and event venue set on nine acres of Springwood's rolling Penn Hills property in Verona, Pennsylvania, just outside Pittsburgh. The grounds center on two waterfalls — including a 55-foot drop over a natural stone quarry — along with a covered bridge, three ponds, a stone-lined stream, and towering evergreen and maple trees. Ceremonies are typically held at the base of the Lower Falls or at the Dome, an open-air site framed by a wrought-iron dome near the Upper Falls. From May through October, a 30' x 40' tent covers a side-yard patio connecting the pool area to the upper waterfall site, serving as both a rain plan and a setting for outdoor receptions, dinners, and dancing. The in-ground heated pool and surrounding patio offer a more casual setting for rehearsal dinners, poolside barbecues, and family celebrations. The Villa can be booked as a stand-alone venue, with its own entrance and parking separate from Springwood Manor, or used alongside the Manor for a combined ceremony-and-reception event. A separate on-site Villa Suite provides overnight accommodations for up to six guests, available for extended stays with a two-night minimum — a frequent choice for a wedding party getting ready before the event.
