The Wentworth

The Wentworth Inn has stood in Jackson Village, New Hampshire since 1869, when it began as a casino hall and billiards parlor before evolving into the romantic country inn it is today. Situated in the White Mountains, the property reflects a European and turn-of-the-century New England innkeeping tradition — with historical books, documents, and memorabilia woven throughout its 61 rooms, cottages, and suites. For weddings and private celebrations, The Wentworth hosts one event per day, giving couples exclusive use of the full property. Outdoor ceremonies take shape at the Wentworth Gazebo — set at the foot of Jackson Falls and configured for up to 200 seated guests — as well as at the River Front Lawn and Alpine Terrace, both framed by panoramic White Mountain scenery. Receptions flow into the White Mountain Pavilion, a permanent outdoor structure with a raised platform, dance floor, and bandstand for up to 200 guests from May through early November, or the South Dining Room for more intimate gatherings of up to 80 during the winter months. The inn's events team coordinates planning from rehearsal dinner through the final toast, with in-house catering, vendor connections, and customizable menus available throughout the weekend.
