The Windrift- Avalon

ICONA Windrift is one of only two beachfront hotels in Avalon, New Jersey, set on 7-Mile Island along the Atlantic Coast. The property was established in 1967 and reimagined by ICONA Resorts in 2021, blending timeless coastal character with updated amenities across twelve room types — from classic studios to multi-bedroom oceanfront suites and condominiums. Seven dining and bar venues serve the resort, including the second-story Ocean Oasis with panoramic Atlantic views, the Dune Bar with wood-fired brick-oven pizzas, Avalon Prime Steakhouse, and the beachside Tiki Bar. The Ocean Oasis Ballroom, housed on the second floor with floor-to-ceiling windows and a covered oceanfront veranda, hosts weddings and private receptions. Beachside ceremony settings are available for wedding weekends, with dedicated getting-ready suites — a spa-lon and a groom's suite — available on-site. Resort amenities include a heated outdoor pool with spa pool, direct beach access with complimentary beach tags, valet and self-parking, and live entertainment nightly through the summer season.
