The Woodlands Club

The Woodlands Club is a member-owned, year-round private country club in Falmouth, Maine, roughly ten minutes from downtown Portland. Founded in 1988, the club was built around the idea that a single destination could offer year-round activities for families — a model anchored by an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Jim and George Fazio that has since hosted four Korn Ferry Tour events and multiple state and regional championships. For private events, the clubhouse offers several distinct spaces. The Grand Ballroom, renovated in 2015, spans 4,000 square feet and can be divided into smaller configurations for more intimate gatherings. The Fireside Room seats up to 24 guests for private dinners and smaller celebrations. A covered patio with views of the 18th hole serves as a natural backdrop for cocktail hours and outdoor ceremonies. The club's on-site catering and events team supports weddings, corporate dinners, anniversaries, reunions, bar and bat mitzvahs, and similar occasions with customizable menus from an executive chef.
