Treetops Resort

Treetops Resort is a year-round destination resort in Gaylord, Michigan, set across thousands of acres of northern Michigan forest and rolling terrain. The property encompasses five championship golf courses totaling 81 holes — designed by Robert Trent Jones, Rick Smith, and Tom Fazio — along with a full-service ski area, spa, and seven on-site restaurants, making it one of northern Michigan's most complete resort destinations. For events and weddings, Treetops offers more than 25,000 square feet of meeting and event space, with both indoor reception rooms and outdoor ceremony sites featuring hilltop and valley views. The Convention Center accommodates up to 400 guests for large-scale celebrations, while smaller venues in the Lodge and at Treetops North provide more intimate settings. On-site lodging — including The Lodge, the Inn, cottages, chalets, and condominiums — allows wedding guests and group travelers to stay on the property throughout the weekend. A dedicated events team handles planning and coordination, and the resort's culinary team provides in-house catering for all events.
