Putah Creek Lodge sits within the UC Davis Arboretum on the southwest perimeter of the UC Davis campus in Davis, California — a lushly landscaped setting along Putah Creek, shaded by mature trees and surrounded by acres of grounds managed by the University's arboretum. Built in 1965, the circular lodge is a distinctive structure featuring an open wood-beam ceiling, a focal fireplace, and French doors that open onto a wraparound patio overlooking the gardens. The venue offers three complementary event areas: the lodge interior, which accommodates up to 140 seated or 200 standing guests; a sweeping outdoor lawn that can host gatherings of up to 600; and a wood-bench amphitheater with a fire pit, suited for outdoor ceremonies or intimate gatherings of up to 75. A full kitchen, tables, and chairs are included, and the grounds feature an in-ground BBQ pit for larger outdoor receptions. Operated by UC Davis Conference and Event Services, Putah Creek Lodge is available for weddings, receptions, corporate retreats, conferences, and private celebrations. Its private arboretum location, built-in outdoor amenities, and flexible indoor-outdoor configuration make it a versatile choice for groups of varying sizes.
