Uley’s Cabin and Ice Bar

Uley's Cabin and Ice Bar sits on the slopes of Crested Butte Mountain Resort, accessible by ski or snowboard during the day and by snowcat-driven sleigh in the evening. The cabin takes its name from Uley Scheer, a local historical figure known as a moonshiner, trapper, and jailhouse cook — a heritage that lends the space its distinct character. Inside, the dining room offers an upscale Colorado-inspired lunch experience with dishes like grilled pheasant breast, bison tri-tip steak frites, and wild game stroganoff. Outdoors, a more casual deck hosts creative American-style grilled favorites alongside lawn games and open mountain views. The adjacent Ice Bar, carved slope-side, serves handcrafted cocktails with a backdrop of ski runs and mountain peaks. The venue is open for lunch Wednesday through Sunday, with select additional days throughout the winter season.
