Van Dickson Ranch

Van Dickson Ranch is a 600-acre historic property nestled along Skull Valley Creek in Skull Valley, Arizona, approximately 15 miles from Prescott. Established in 1907 and acquired by Paul and Carolyn Harris in 1999, the ranch is one of the oldest in Arizona and has welcomed wedding and private event guests since 2011. Surrounded by groves of oak, cottonwood, and walnut trees with a mountain backdrop, the setting offers a naturally scenic environment suited to rustic, western, and elegant ranch-style celebrations. The ranch is reserved on an exclusive-use basis from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., accommodating both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations. Event areas include a spacious oak-treed lawn for ceremonies and a large covered pavilion on a grassy field for receptions, both furnished with tables, chairs, and lighting. In-house catering — smoked tri-tip beef and chicken with four side dishes and fresh-baked rolls — is included in the rental. Guests also have access to wireless internet, handicap-accessible restroom facilities, security personnel, and parking attendants. Private accommodations for the wedding party include a casita with a bathroom and kitchen for the bride and separate groom's quarters with a bathroom. The grounds offer multiple scenic photo locations throughout the property.
