Vega State Park

Vega State Park sits at 8,000 feet on the northeast edge of Grand Mesa National Forest in western Colorado, near Collbran in Mesa County. The park encompasses a 900-acre reservoir set within a 1,823-acre montane meadow landscape, making it the largest body of water in the Grand Valley. The Meadows Group Picnic Area is available for private events including weddings, family reunions, memorials, and other group gatherings. The covered outdoor area accommodates up to 100 guests and features picnic tables, countertops for serving, grills, and a field suitable for lawn games. The space adjoins the Aspen Grove Campground, giving event guests the option to extend their stay at one of 109 campsites or five year-round cabins within the park.
