Veramar Vineyard

Veramar Vineyard is a family-owned winery on more than 100 acres in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, near Berryville and within view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Della and Jim Bogaty purchased the property in the early 1990s and opened the vineyard to the public in 2000; their son Justin joined as chief winemaker in 2001 and has since guided the estate's wines to more than 97 ratings of 85 points or higher from Wine Enthusiast Magazine. The property's tasting room and event space occupy a historic 1948 farm building with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams, opening onto a deck and terrace that overlook the vineyard and surrounding mountains. The setting suits intimate weddings for up to 75 guests, with rehearsal dinners for up to 35, as well as private celebrations such as birthdays, anniversaries, and bridal showers for 30 to 75 guests. Corporate groups also gather here for team-building retreats, client appreciation events, and business celebrations, paired with the estate's wines.
