Vernon Downs Casino & Hotel

Vernon Downs Casino Hotel sits in Vernon, New York, where harness racing has drawn crowds since the track first opened. The property combines a working racetrack — live racing runs April through November — with a casino, AAA-approved hotel, and a state-of-the-art Event Center suited to everything from wedding receptions to corporate gatherings and social celebrations. The Event Center accommodates up to 350 guests for sit-down dinners, with views overlooking the historic racing track. Catering ranges from passed hors d'oeuvres and cocktail displays to grand buffets and multi-course seated dinners, with pricing structured to fit varying budgets. A dedicated Wedding Sales Manager coordinates event planning and logistics. The venue earned the WeddingWire Couples' Choice Award in 2020. On-site hotel accommodations keep out-of-town guests steps from the reception, and six dining venues — including Mr. G's Food and Spirits, Ring Eyed Pete's Sports Bar, and the Miracle Mile Restaurant — give groups additional options across the property.
