Formerly the Victorian Veranda Country Inn, Veranda Venue sits on eight acres in Lawrence, Kansas, conveniently located off Interstate 70 between Topeka and Kansas City. The property combines a working farm setting with classic Victorian character, making it a self-contained destination for weddings and private celebrations. The centerpiece of the property is a two-story open barn that seats up to 250 guests for receptions, surrounded by mature gardens well-suited for outdoor ceremonies. An onsite ten-bedroom Victorian manor — including a honeymoon suite and nine additional guest suites — allows the wedding party and close family to stay on the property, with the Grand Victorian Package offering a full Friday-through-Sunday experience that includes rehearsal space, an event day coordinator, and two nights of lodging. A bring-your-own-caterer policy gives couples flexibility in planning their event.
