Von Braun Center- North Hall

Located in the heart of Huntsville, Alabama, the Von Braun Center is a multi-venue event complex at 700 Monroe Street SW that has served The Rocket City since its opening in 1975. Named in honor of rocket engineering pioneer Dr. Wernher von Braun, the facility encompasses eight distinct spaces capable of hosting gatherings from intimate private events to productions of more than 9,000. The Saturn Ballroom — formerly known as North Hall and most recently renovated in 2023 — is the Von Braun Center's premier banquet and convention space. Spanning more than 23,000 square feet on the main level, the ballroom accommodates up to 1,200 guests in a banquet-style setup and can be divided into three separate areas for smaller events. Sixteen breakout rooms on the mezzanine level, including salons ranging from 500 to 2,800 square feet, provide additional flexibility for conferences, meetings, and receptions. The Saturn Ballroom features a color-changing LED lighting system, integrated sound equipment, in-house catering by the Von Braun Center's culinary team, and ADA-accessible entrances, restrooms, and seating throughout.
