Weddings at Union

Weddings at Union is the wedding program of Union Congregational Church, a century-old stone church on a wide residential street in Upper Montclair, New Jersey. The sanctuary seats up to 400 guests beneath timbered ceilings lit by iron chandeliers and surrounded by Tiffany stained glass windows — an architectural setting uncommon outside historic houses of worship. For smaller celebrations, the Assembly Room accommodates up to 100 guests and comes equipped with 60-inch round tables and chairs. The manicured grounds surrounding the building, with shaped topiary and open lawn, offer additional space for wedding photographs. A Director of Music is available to play organ and piano and can help arrange additional instruments for the ceremony. The church makes no requirements of faith: interfaith couples, same-gender couples, and those who haven't attended services in years are equally and explicitly welcome.
